Nakivo Backup & Replication 8.5 Beta was available in April 2019 with many new features published on our Article. We have tested most of the features on the beta version and now updated version available and excited. With this new update, VMware Latest version vSphere 6.7 Update 2 is supported.

Nutanix AHV Support
Nakivo Backup & Replication 8.5.2 now support Nutanix Platform and with this new version, you can protect your Nutanix AHV infrastructure. You can integrate your Nutanix AHV environment with NAKIVO Backup & Replication 8.5.2 and it provides agentless, application-aware, incremental VM backup.
Replication from Backup
Nakivo Backup & Replication 8.5.2 has a new replication feature will allow you to offload the production environment by replicating VMs directly from the backups. This feature will help you to reduce the snapshot overhead by performing replication from backups which reduces the load on the host, frees up valuable resources, and saves time. And this feature available VMware and Hyper-V infrastructure.
Software-Defined Backup Appliance Based on FreeNAS
Now you can handle your backups more efficiently with NAKIVO and FreeNAS solution. NAKIVO Backup & Replication and FreeNAS offer a simple yet affordable solution, you can turn any hardware into a NAS-based backup appliance and have it take care of your data protection needs.
You can install FreeNAS operating system top of the hardware devices to provide it with network-attached storage capabilities. After the OS is installed access the app store from the FreeNAS web interface and download NAKIVO Backup & Replication. You can complete the installation process in a few clicks and your backup appliance is ready to protect Hyper-V, VMware or Nutanix AHV VMs as well as AWS EC2 instances.

With Nakivo Backup & Replication 8.5.2 windows server 2019 is supported, you can install the Nakivo Backup and Recovery in Windows Server 2019. Addition to that file recovery to the source has become available for Windows Servers 2019. If you plan to upgrade your windows servers NAKIVO Backup & Replication 8.5.2 is fully compatible to protect your business-critical data.
You can install NAKIVO Backup & Replication is on Windows or Linux and the updates can be automatically downloaded and install. Once the update becomes available, the Update available button will appear in the header of the product.

VMware vSphere 6.7 Update 2 Support
With NAKIVO Backup & Replication v8.5.2 version now VMware vSphere 6.7 Update 2 is Supported, we have tested the support and its working perfectly. If you plan to upgrade or build new VMware Infrastruet in vSphere 6.7 Update 2 then NAKIVO BR is supported backup solution.
About Our Environment and Testing
We are using ESXi 6.7 Update 2 build 13006603 for testing the Nakivo BR
We haved added the vSphere 6.7 Update 2 Host to Nakivo Backup and Replication 8.5.2
Navigate to Home-> Create and Click on VMware vSpher backup job
Select the vSphere Host and VM to backed up and Click Next
Select Repository and Click Next
Select the number of Recovery Points and Click Next
Provide Jo Name Select the required options and Click on FInish and Run
In a few minutes, it will be completed and you can recover the VMs before the restore points expire.

Last month Nakivo released their 8.5 beta version and now Nakivo Backup & Replication 8.5.2 released with the support of VMware Latest version vSphere 56.7 Update 2 .
